Severin HV 7146
Hello to all. While vacuuming up pine needles after Christmas, I had forgotten about the internal filter, for whatever reason. This resulted in needles getting into the vents. It was my own stupidity and not a guarantee. I then carefully opened it up and freed the suction cup from the needles. When it was open, it still worked. Closed again, no more sound, but the light that flashes alternately green and red when the switch is in the "on" position.... So there is still contact, otherwise the vacuum cleaner would be completely dead. What have I done wrong? Does anyone know about this flashing and how should I treat it? Thanks for any tips. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll have to get a new vacuum cleaner, because I'm actually very happy with the little power unit...
Hello, go to the Severin website, scroll down to contact and enter your question, the company will certainly help, if the vacuum cleaner, i.e. the motor runs when the appliance is open, something has probably gone wrong, check everything carefully to see if there is not a needle by the contacts, clean everything with an old toothbrush, do you have a contact spray?Clean everything with an old toothbrush, do you have a contact spray, but contact them first, the company has a lot of experience in such matters, your request will certainly not be answered on the day of shipment, otherwise the vacuum cleaner is very good. does the assembly go smoothly? or do you have to help it along with pressure? this would also be a reason for a foreign body i wish you all the best
Ps make it very simple read the manual.
In my opinion, if the lights flash, it is usually when the battery is empty, otherwise your device may have got something inside it or a cable may have been pinched during assembly,
Unfortunately, I can't help. I have been very satisfied with the Severin HV7146 since March this year. Unfortunately, I can't say anything more about it. Based on the customer's statement, I can imagine that the appliance can be "made to work again". Good luck with the next attempt.
