A flat lid has a specially shaped edge that fits snugly on the pan. Due to its weight, it seals the pan reliably without hermetically sealing it. If needed, it can be quickly pushed aside. The stainless steel handle can be comfortably touched even during cooking, as the heat from the lid does not transfer to the handle. Flat lids are made from durable Cromargan or glass and are easy to clean – whether by hand or in the dishwasher.
