The cocotte, a traditional French cooking vessel, has been used and loved by star chefs and gourmets alike for centuries. Like all STAUB cocottes, it is made of cast iron and coated on the inside with black enamel, which not only improves its cooking properties but also makes it easier to handle. The material distributes the heat evenly, keeping energy consumption very low. Once the dish is served in the cocotte, it stays hot for a particularly long time. Be inspired by the colour and give your roast chicken an extravagant touch by adding some sliced truffle under the skin before the roast goes into the oven. Hand wash recommended.
