With the Illumina series, food preparation is child's play: the specially developed 4-colour Illumina illuminated ring visually reflects which speed level has been selected. Each speed level or colour
is in turn assigned a preparation type. This ensures that the Illumina blender is always set to the correct setting:

Blue - Level 1: Purees
Purple - Step 2: Smoothies
Green - Level 3: Soups
Red - Impulse function: Crushing ice

Visually, the products of the Illumina series captivate with their brushed stainless steel applications with a distinctive Russell Hobbs embossing, which go very well with the high-quality black plastic. The Illumina blender is equipped with titanium-coated knives that are four times harder than ordinary stainless steel knives and therefore remain sharp for longer.

Die Rille am Boden sah das Labor als Nachteil bei der Reinigung an und Zwiebeln sollte man mit diesem Gerät besser nicht bearbeiten. Sonst aber erzielte der Mixer homogene Ergebnisse, obgleich er nur über drei Stufen und eine Pulsefunktion verfügt. Für das Einrasten des 1,5-Liter-Glaskrugs sind zwei Hände nötig.
