Zassenhaus Coffee/Espresso grinder QUITO
After 10 weeks of moderate use, the plastic thread of the coffee grinder is already broken, so the glass collection container can no longer be screwed in and the coffee grinder is unusable. The warranty at Galaxis has expired and Zassenhaus will not repair or replace the grinder. Very poor service from both companies!
Very good in the grinding quality. However, the quality of the thread between the mill and the glass container is also of very poor, brittle quality in our case and already broke after about 7 months of use.
Clean grinding and easy adjustment of the grinding degree
Only conditionally suitable for really good, finely ground espresso. The result tastes good, but is far from what is possible. However, it is also recommended as a mobile grinder because of the price.
Everything is top-notch, but adjusting the grinder is a fiddly job because there are no numbers and no stop, so you turn around in the middle of nowhere. If you want to adjust the grind once, you don't know where it was before and have to do the test again each time.
I would prefer to give it 4.5 stars.
The grinder is top for the price. A wide variety of grinds from coarse to fine (espresso, possibly also Turkish mocha) is possible.
What excites me most is the speed. Yesterday, I had to crank my Hario Skerton for 20-25 minutes for 45g of coffee, today I achieved the same result in about 1 minute!
I only deduct a small amount because of the plastic lid, but you can safely leave it off.
