Toasting me softly.
My life has been transformed. WMF really showed everyone by going thin and ditching fat. You know the problem. Fat, double-slit monstrosities that sit awkwardly on your kitchen counter taking a bunch of space. Like a slob taking two train seats unapologetically. To the rescue come the Germans (not something you hear often). Why not just stretch that bad boy and use only one slit? Genius. This guy is slim and inconspicuously sits against the wall along the kitchen counter. The one slit also works much better - allowing you to toast those extra large pieces of bread with no fuss (you know, the ones called "American Style!" - I call them, get-real style). Needless to say, my mornings have been redefined. I can toast while resting my elbows on the kitchen counter to look at the toaster adorably - like a teenager in love. I can go light or dark to match my mood. And it is oh so easy. One finger push or pull on the little tab - like a cat playing with a mouse. I can almost hear the toaster say "oh! what will it be today?! easy? hard?". I keep it guessing - and make things interesting.
When the toaster is done, it gently pops your bread out. A nice, civilized spring tension that doesn't force you to try and play catch with a hot toast flying across your kitchen, like those other toasters. So many times I had to play peek-a-boo trying to find where my toast had flown - with those "other" toasters. Now, I know exactly where it is. Waiting for me, cocooned safely in the toaster's gentle wiry basket.
So - are you ready to claim back with some counter space? Tired of searching for or playing catch with your toast? Then this bad boy is for you.Pro

Unfortunately with Euro plug + adapter, which is very ugly. Would not have ordered the toaster if that had been mentioned in the offer!
Perfect
A super toaster - and I have had many! It looks extremely good and makes perfect toasts. Also ingenious for baking up thanks to the fold-up grate. Who cares if it gets warm? I do not take it after breakfast in the pocket.
Good toaster; tongs unusable
Since I already had an elongated toaster before and was very satisfied I decided to buy this toaster. In general I am satisfied, the toaster does what it should: he toaster well
What bothers me the most is the grill tongs. This can not be attached anywhere on the grill. Due to the design of the tongs, it is not possible to get far into the opening of the toaster. Man arrives at the hot handle elements and the tongs even begins to melt.Pro

Not a fan ...
As the title says, I am not a fan.
I have had the toaster for a week and have used it more often (as I had visitors). Apart from the first stinking out with 2-3 x empty toasting, the toaster looks fine, is kept simple and holds two normal sized toasts. The somewhat larger ones that you can buy here and there don't fit in completely. In addition, the toaster has shot up too early several times, the bread came up completely unfinished and I don't understand the reason. At CHF 80, it's really too expensive. But I will (have to) keep it, as it is the only thing that fits where it should be.Pro
