I have of the identical Vorgängemodellen the LW 24 and the LW 44. The device humidifies very reliably, but is in my opinion as an air purifier less a reason to buy. It must be said, however, that the gearboxes of the devices at High lime occurrence relatively quickly rattling noises begin to make. However, one can mention here as a tip that a call to the Venta hotline is enough to order replacements. They are very accommodating during the warranty period. Some further tips (given by the Venta hotline): Instead of the expensive cleaning agent, you can use cleaning vinegar or citric acid (same ingredient of the cleaner) for descaling. The plastic parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher (at low temperatures!!!) if necessary.
Another advantage is that you can open the housing with the clips on top to clean the fan.
I find the ribs on the housing disadvantageous; these catch a lot of dust and make cleaning more difficult.Pro

This Venta air washer is the best product on the market!
I have tried different products with filters etc. for 30 years until I bought the first Vents LW24 in 2000. It has now been in service for 13 years without any problems from Nov. to June in 24-hour operation. Now I had to replace it with a new Venta LW25 because the motor was making bearing noises. After more than 70,000 operating hours, this is not surprising!
In our wooden house there is also a Venta LW14 in use. We evaporate about 15 litres of water per day. We owe our well-being not least to these products.
There is no comparable product that can be disassembled so easily for thorough cleaning!Pro

Previous model was much better
I had been using the predecessor for years, which proved to be excellent. The new models with LED are much worse.
On the one hand, the LEDs are much too bright, which is simply annoying and absolutely unnecessary, since many people like me use the humidifier in the bedroom.
Regarding quality: the old insert was much more solid/higher quality and was in the dishwasher well over 100 times without any problems. The new insert is much thinner and doesn't stand up to the dishwasher. For me, it was super convenient for cleaning.Pro

Ideal air purifier and humidifier for private households, but also for the office, easy to clean, simple to use. We are thrilled.

The Venta air washer of the new generation is...
The new generation Venta air washer is even more handy than our old one was. I especially appreciate that when the water level is too low, the device switches off. This means that there is no unpleasant smell in the room when there is no more water. The air washer runs quietly, which is advantageous in a living room.

A useful addition to my older model of many years!
Easy cleaning thanks to an economical additive. Not by evaporation, but by evaporation, about 3 litres of water are released into the air every day. Very quiet on levels 1 and 2! Hygrometer control recommended!This review was created for a different variant: LW25 Original (40 m²)
