tado° Smart AC Control V3+
Works great with De'Longhi Pinguino PAC N82 Eco (transmits status etc. - can do everything the remote control can do).

We use three of these devices to control our Panasonic ACs - and it works brilliantly. However, the benefits depend on the app used. The official Tado app seems rudimentary; you don't want to spend too much time with it, even if all the options are available.
The Tado box is also compatible with Apple's HomeKit. However, the Home app doesn't offer all of the climate control options - and far fewer than are possible with the Tado app. However, I think Apple is to blame here. The best control I've experienced so far is with Home Assistant. But that's just it: You first have to set up and like a server like this.
In short: the control system itself is great. But it depends on which system is used to access it.

It's a pity that it has to be connected to the mains all the time, a battery version would have been great.

I have the Argo Ulisses air conditioner. You have to let the remote "recognize" 5x, suddenly it works. However, the integration with Homekit automations is far from trivial, because it does not do what is expected. For example, the cooling always turns on at 22:00 in the evening (which would have been programmed), to 20 degrees (which is correct), but of course not when it is only 19 degrees in the room. Makes no sense. Also, the sleep/night mode of the air conditioner is not supported.
Mounts are available on Thingiverse (for people with 3D printers). I don't know yet how long I'll struggle with it (got the thing 3 days now).
