The dehydrator with metal grid is great, I've already used the model with plastic grid but I can't compare it to the metal grid dehydrator.

Practical dehydrator that comes with 3 dehydrating grids. If needed, more grids can be purchased. I find the timer indispensable. I am very satisfied.
