Siemens VS06A111
Siemens VS06A111
I had the previous model for 5 years and then the plastic part that holds the bag broke off. It was ok for me, I think it cost me less than 60 Euros at the time, so I think it did a good job for that time.
So I bought the VS06A111 as a replacement half a year ago. It's a bit more expensive and I noticed that the workmanship was much inferior. It's bouncing all over the place and the stuff is just "cheap", not "good value".
A week ago the bag holder broke off again, a simple plastic nipple holds the part. Of course that can't go well, it must be intentional (planned obsolescence). When it breaks, the bag is displaced and all the dirt is distributed in the device. Didn't feel like tinkering or dealing with customer service etc as it's clear I'll have the same problem again in a few months. Have now bought a bagless Philipps hoover for three times the price.
This type of product should be banned, it just messes up the environment.

I would say that the hoover is reasonably ok, as many of the reviewers here write, but there are a few points that really bother me. The Schuko plug is only one of the smallest problems, as this is labelled in the description. What is really annoying, however, is that the telescopic tube is really cheap and has to be adjusted by hand. It doesn't have a click system to interlock the parts. So it has to be aligned by eye. It is also rubbish that the cable is not fully retracted (not only because of the Schuko plug). You can already see that it cannot be fully retracted. This is why the hoover stands at an angle when you want to power it. I also think the castors are rubbish. The last negative point is the floor nozzle... no matter whether you switch it to carpet or hard floor, it's as if it just pushes the dirt around
