In hindsight
Will use a smart plug to get the timing issue sorted but otherwise it’s a wonderful piece of kit

A beautiful machine for entering the world of espresso
The Rocket flats is a superb machine for starting to make espresso at home. The machine heats up well thanks to its large boiler and the brewing head of the e61 group is magnificent and precise in terms of temperature. It comes with all the accessories you need to get started.
You'll still need to think about getting a good coffee grinder.
What's more, it takes around 20-30 minutes to heat up before you can make your first coffee. The solution for a good espresso when you get out of bed is to plug it into a programmable socket so that the machine switches on about 30 minutes before you wake up.
One point to pay attention to is the quality of the water. It's essential to use filtered water to prevent limescale forming in the boiler, which is very difficult to descale.

Great machine when it's running
I've had my fourth machine since the beginning of January. The first one was delivered incorrectly and I had to return the other two due to a defect. One was leaking right from the start and the other gave up the ghost after about 1.5 minutes.
I'm beginning to suspect that repaired, second-hand machines are being sold here. The packaging looks different every time and this time the water container was wet and the machine was rather dirty.
However, apart from the unreliability of the post office, the replacement works quickly. Defective machines are replaced immediately. I wonder what happens to the defective ones?
I wouldn't buy any more Rocket products.
