The iRobot 676 itself is great. Cleans cleanly as I have no cats, dogs or female hair in the house. It can be operated by hand without a smartphone.
Compared to my old one (different brand), the iRobot is great and doesn't hit obstacles everywhere like a hammer. The charging station, on the other hand, is a bad design. As it is just over 15 g light, the iRobot pushes and turns it away as it passes by until the cable is stretched. On its first four uses, it couldn't find its station and starved on the way. It was only when I mounted a 3 mm thick and 50 x 60 cm plastic plate under the charging station that it became suitable. It prevents the charging station from moving because the iRobot drives onto the plate and weighs it down. It then recognises its charging station as an obstacle and avoids it. Now it always returns to its station.
What I find absolutely wrong is that there is no remote control. The app that you are supposed to download to your smartphone, just to operate the iRobot, they require you to register completely, except for your date of birth. AND setting up an account!!! I cancelled that and uninstalled it. I operate it by hand. This is too much of a good thing for me.Ideal as a toy
This robot is suitable as a toy.
The suction function is good.
Watching the sucker brings tears to my eyes.... It wanders around the flat and cleans once across the flat without knowing what it is doing.Pro

Robidog does his job
We are satisfied with Robidog. He knows where his place is and always shows up on time to go for a walk. Only his droppings need to be cleaned up by us.
