Feedback after 1 year: Expectations not met
I am and was a big fan of the Dyson V6 "Fluffy", as I mainly vacuum parquet and not carpets. After about 8 years, the battery performance of the "Fluffy" started to deteriorate noticeably - which is ok. Unfortunately, the replacement V12 did not fulfil my positive expectations. What bothers me most is that the air filter is constantly clogged and the suction power immediately drops. With the "Fluffy" I cleaned the filter maybe once a year, with the V12 this is necessary after 4 major vacuuming sessions. And that means unscrewing it, knocking off the dust (unhygienic), cleaning it under running water and then leaving it open to dry for at least 24 hours. Not something you want to do all the time.

Strong suction power, unfortunately short battery life
This is my first Dyson and I am very happy with the product. Compared to a conventional hoover, it picks up a lot more dirt and reaches pretty much every corner. The laser of the Fluffy floor nozzle detects every single grain of dust, so you can clean very specifically. Many different nozzles are supplied to cover all possible cleaning situations. The suction power can be regulated on the digital display. A small note: On one of my carpets, the Motorbar floor nozzle stops when it is on Auto mode, as it probably sucks up the carpet too much. Setting it to Eco solves the problem.
What bothers me a little is the short battery life. Depending on the situation, it's too short to do everything in one suction cycle. If you have a lot of living space, I would recommend buying a spare battery. That way you are on the safe side. The size of the dust container is also quite small.
