Absolutely top-notch, doesn't annoy.
I was annoyed with the Sodastream Duo for two years. The glass bottles were great, but the system was total crap and the QuickConnect cartridges are a total customer rip-off.
With the Brita Trio, everything has been done right: gas cylinders from other manufacturers can be used (Brita even points this out), the device is very minimalist, but of high quality, nice to look at and, above all, no water runs out or in where it shouldn't. The bucket into which the glass is poured is a real eye-catcher. The bucket in which the glass bottle is placed is easy to remove and clean (in contrast to the Sodastream). The bubble nozzle is easy to remove for cleaning and the bottles are just really nice to look at, and surprisingly cheap as an additional product. A nice detail is the magnetic cover of the drip tray, so it doesn't fall out when the device is turned upside down to change the cylinder - clever detail, I think it's cool! A clear buy recommendation from me.Pro

Unusable since the update
The bubbler recently received a safety update and was replaced. Unfortunately, the new model only bubbles very modestly and the pressure in the tank is probably no longer high enough. As a side effect, the consumption of CO2 has also increased massively.

Top quality and very attractive
All the white parts are plastic, but very good quality, and the part where you put the bottles to carbonate the water is stainless steel. I've had it for a while and it's very good quality, I've never had any problems.

We would have actually taken the SodaStream Duo, but because of the proprietary pink CO2 cylinder, we decided on the Brita.Pro

Super
I switched from Sodasteam to Brita. I am very satisfied. I no longer felt like scraping limescale out of every crevice, plus the water bubbled easily from the bottle into the container, which doesn't happen to me with Brita.
