Yes, that should not be a problem. Unlike conventional hoovers, this model has a motorised brush that moves dirt towards the pipe. The only disadvantage is that over time dirt sticks to the intake hole and then needs to be cleaned.
The Roidmi F8 is the latest model. We use Dyson for years and we bought the Roidmi F8 for out holiday house but once tried we decided to keep it in our house and relegate the Dyson DC10 to the mountain. The Xiaomi it’s really fantastic! (more battery autonomy and clean better than the Dyson) ;o)

Hi, there is one filter which can be removed and cleaned manually. This is an easy task. I do it when I see it is dirty/dusty. I don’t think there is a possibility to buy new filters (as it is totally unnecessary). Hope it helped!

No, the button does not have to be held down during operation. Press 1x briefly to switch on Press once briefly during operation to switch between normal mode and strong mode. Press and hold once during operation to switch off
