With the Homematic IP wall thermostat, time-controlled management of room temperature via Homematic IP radiator thermostats or Homematic IP floor heating actuators can be set up in just a few steps.

Individual temperature curves with up to 13 changes per day can be defined in 3 or 6 adjustable profiles (3 for heating and 3 for cooling). The number of profiles depends on whether the wall thermostat is used to control Homematic IP radiator thermostats (3 heating profiles) or floor heating actuators (3 heating and 3 cooling profiles). In direct combination with Homematic IP radiator thermostats, a heating profile is available without a central control unit.

After setup, three easy-to-use keys are available for manual operation, allowing precise temperature selection in 0.5°C steps, fast heating via the boost function, and adjustments to the heating profiles. The large LC display makes it easy to read the set and actual temperature as well as the determined air humidity. The sensor can be attached to the desired position using the supplied adhesive strips or screws. Placement on an existing flush-mounted box is also possible. Thanks to the long-life LR6 battery power supply (approximately 5 years) and radio communication, no additional cabling is required.

The Homematic IP wall thermostat can be set up flexibly via the Homematic IP App (in conjunction with the Homematic IP Access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in conjunction with a CCU2/CCU3 control unit). Alternatively, the wall thermostat can also be operated without a central unit: Stand-alone operation (push-to-pair) allows up to eight radiator thermostats to be taught-in directly. These can be linked to a total of up to eight window and door contacts with magnets, ensuring that the room temperature is automatically reduced when ventilation is required.
