Question about Play HDMI Sync Box - 419254
Hue Play HDMI with Samsung The Frame (2018) via OneConnect Box? Hello all. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a Samsung The Frame 65'' TV with the Hue Sync Box? As I see it, there might be problems because the Samsung Frame TV has a OneConnect box where the HDMI connections are and from there only a thin cable (proprietary) runs to the TV. The TV itself has NO HDMI connections (on the device). Thank you for your support...

That should not be a problem. I also have a Samsung TV and simply connected the Hue Sync to one of the HDMI inputs of this box. Then you can plug all other sources into the Sync box, depending on whether the source is to be used with Hue or not.
Exactly, it is only important that everything you want to sync (video, audio) is routed via HDMI through the Hue Sync Box to the TV.
A problem usually only arises from the apps that have been installed directly on the TV. These usually do not work. To do this, you have to connect an AppleTV or a Chromecast to the Sync Box via HDMI.
