The mentioned dimming function is actually only the switching of the four light modes via light switch, no real dimming as we had imagined.

Will buy the lamp again.
The lamp has 4 light settings for each mood. The only thing I can complain is that the last light setting is not saved.

Very good product but check if it fits your apartment's provided installation options before purchasing.
Works great, installation holes are not compatible with my apartment. Accessories or instructions for different types installations are missing.
