Flap text
The most important basic text of spiritual wisdom

The almost 200 verses of the Yoga Sutra by Patanjali describe in incomparable density, logic and precision the developmental path of our consciousness, which is called yoga. Yoga means path and goal at the same time: as a goal it stands for the state of self-realization or enlightenment, as a path it describes the manifold methods that lead there.

In four chapters we learn how to achieve inner freedom, what our daily spiritual practice can look like, which inner exercises - concentration and meditation - bring about the transformation of our consciousness and how we finally learn to let go of all this again in order to become truly free. Undogmatically and without moral-religious precepts, the Yoga Sutra shows us the way to liberation from the shackles of ego-consciousness.
