Author: Sebastian FitzekSebastian Fitzek, born in Berlin in 1971, is Germany's best-selling author. He studied law, gained a doctorate in copyright law and worked as a programme director for various radio stations in Germany. Fitzek has been writing psychological thrillers since 2006, all of which have become bestsellers. His first novel "Die Therapie" quickly conquered the bestseller list and was nominated for the Friedrich Glauser Prize for best crime thriller debut. Fitzek's books have been translated into 36 languages and sold over 19 million copies worldwide. Sebastian Fitzek is also known for his spectacular book presentations, which he stages as shows. In 2017, he was the first German author to be honoured with the European Prize for Crime Literature. He is the founder of the Viktor Crime Award and is a patron of the German association "Das frühgeborene Kind" e.V.
