Question about ASUS USB 3.0 HZ-3 Docking

According to the manufacturer, the docking station is compatible with all ASUS laptops via the USB 3.0 port. This also applies to the ASUS ZenBook UX430UN-GV082T, for example. The driver for Windows 10 from 2017/12/05 is available, yet a few buyers write that they have/had problems. I do not understand this. Am unsure because of the modest reviews from 2015-2016 if the product has improved with the newer driver version from 2017. Has anyone had a good experience with the product in 2018-2019?

I had this thing in use for a few years and was only annoyed with it. The thought ASUS fits ASUS unfortunately proved to be wrong. It kept hanging up and the USB ports went bye-bye.
A few months ago it "slipped the lid" and I got rid of another, much cheaper solution with which I am highly satisfied: i-tec U3HDMIDVIDOCK This is now in use at two workstations. You can also lay it down.
