Unfortunately, the guide rod on my brake pedal is falling out of the brake pedal mount. Is there any solution or has anyone else noticed this? Unfortunately, this causes the spring assembly to disintegrate into its individual parts.
Hello. In my opinion, the springs are incorrectly positioned on the spindle. A colleague of mine had a similar problem and a different installation of the springs solved his problem. As far as I'm concerned, everything works perfectly and I'm very happy with this equipment.
Best regards, have a nice day
Dear Tuc
That sounds annoying! There are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
Check the guide rod: make sure the guide rod is properly seated and not bent or damaged. Sometimes incorrect placement or minor damage can cause the problem.
Check the spring assembly: If the spring assembly is disassembled into its individual parts, it could be that the springs are not installed correctly or are damaged. Check that all springs are properly seated and that there is no visible damage.
Consult the instructions: Check the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedal manual for specific maintenance and repair instructions. Sometimes small adjustments or settings are necessary to solve the problem.
Contact support: If you cannot solve the problem yourself, contact Thrustmaster customer support. They may be able to provide spare parts or further instructions.
Yours sincerely
