Just before Black Friday they raise the prices so they can sell the thing with 25% discount for the price of 2 months.

Nope, probably not this time. RTX4090 prices have risen globally and, according to the Youtuber Moore's Law is dead and Hardware Unboxed, this is likely to remain the case for the next six months. The main reason is probably an impending export ban on high-performance cards for AI to China. Fortunately, I got mine for 'only' 1560.

Regardless of the fact that a campaign like Black Friday rarely brings anything for customers, but is intended to influence people who don't check the prices 10 times a day, like you, graphics card prices will unfortunately actually rise, if you follow the announcements of other media. RAM and SSDs will also become more expensive again after the price drop because Samsung, for example, is causing a shortage by stopping the machines due to the falling prices. Black Friday is for retailers, eichof99. To actually get a bargain, you have to stay tuned and focus on one product. Anyone who reads and buys "Black friday 20% off everything except my Mudder" doesn't get it. It is ADVERTISING for the SALE of GOODS.

I wasn't planning on buying a 4090. Well, part of me wasn't planning on it. But there was another part of me that always says to myself, "You only live once". I bought a "secondhand" 4090 TUF OG OC here at Galaxus, and what can I say: it works normally. Wonderful. But I bought it 2-3 weeks ago. I don't give a damn about Black Fridays. I prefer to buy when it's really cheap. And the 4090 isn't a shelf warmer like the mint green flannel shirt or the horsehair slippers in light pink.
