I have this stick with OBS 24 running on an MBPro (Late 2016). Flawless lifestream possible. Before using it for the first time, I had to familiarise myself (importantly) with the software. But it works well now.

With the Cam Link 4K this works well in principle, but only if the camera also delivers lag-free images. I have had very good experiences with various cameras. But my GoPro Hero 7 Black delivers the images with a delay of up to one second. However, this is not due to Cam Link 4K, but to the camera and happens in exactly the same way with other types of connection.

As long as the camera outputs a fairly normal FullHD signal, it should not be a problem that the camera is compatible.
However, it is also important that you use a fast enough computer so that everything works without delay.
With laptops, you can have a bit of trouble with this.

Yes, it is compatible with OBS without any problems and is recognised with the capture software from Elgato (like a capture card).
However, please make sure that your CAM is compatible with the CAM link (check with Elgato).
