In the operating instructions under "compatible SD cards" it says that SDXC cards with 48 GB / 64 GB are compatible. Are SDXC cards with 128 GB (UHS-i, 80 MB/s) also compatible?

I don't think there should be any restrictions on memory size. I just assume that the specifications in the manual when the camera was released were just the current sizes. SDXC is basically the standard up to 2 TB.
