I use a USB stick with 1GB for recording. Unfortunately, the recordings are constantly halting and jerky. I have already exchanged the receiver and used another USB stick, but always with the same result. Is a USB stick not suitable for this or is there another explanation?

Hello Martin
I have been using this Technistar for a very long time without any problems. For my recordings, I use a Western Digital Passport Ultra hard disk. With this, several programmes can be recorded perfectly at the same time. I have had bad experiences with USB sticks, because they are simply too slow for the TS or TS4 video data stream.

Good morning,
I use a "WD Elements" hard drive for my Technisat device, which works problos for recording and storing films.
Kind regards

Hello,
For a USB flash drive, you need one that can keep up. I use a Sandisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 256 Gb. No problems at all. Most USB sticks are very slow at writing. There are just one or two that are really good at writing, like the one I've just mentioned. Have you tried an SSD?

Hello Martin
It didn't work for me either with a USB stick. I then inserted an external 1TB SSD and everything runs perfectly. Unfortunately, USB sticks are much too slow. Try a fast external HDD or even an SSD and your experience will be perfect. Good luck and have fun.
