Question about HP Thunderbolt G4 Dock for Notebook
I read somewhere it was written that this dock is designed for HP laptops. Has anyone had any problem in connecting it to laptops from other brands (mine is Yoga Pro 7i 14" Intel which has an USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port)? It seems that only the 280W model has a special connection to HP laptop and so limited to HP laptops, but not this one 120W, is this confirmed? Thanks.

Basically, it should work, but what only works with the corresponding brand is the power button on the dock, so you have to switch on the laptop itself. Of course you also have to look at the power, if your laptop needs more, you also have to supply it with power from its own power supply unit. And always allow for a little more power, the dock itself also needs some power.
