I have a new Sunrise We Home XL at home with speeds up to the point of no return. With the FRITZ!Box 7490 I have a max. download speed of approx. 120 MBit/s. Sunrise sent me their internet box and with that I get the maximum (approx. 500 MBit/s). However, I would like to have a FRITZ!Box again. According to the description, the FRITZ!Box 7590 can get a maximum of 300 Mbps. Is that right or can I still get the 500 MBit/s? Thank you very much for your answers. Thank you.

In Switzerland, the Sunrise network uses the g.Fast standard, which this FritzBox does not yet support. That's why you only get 120Mbit/s.

I just measured the throughput with the Fritz WLAN app on a Galaxy S21. If I really position myself optimally to the FB, I get an average of 350 Mbit/sec. With 1 min measurement, the result fluctuates between > 400 Mbit/s and 280 Mbit/s and the fluctuations are surprisingly high. The 300 Mbit/s seems to correspond more to an optimum for a flat or house. Who sits permanently at the optimal reception point ;)

As far as I know, the Fritzbox currently stops at the 300Mbit/s you mentioned. So you can't get any higher. I don't know why AVM is lagging behind. I think it's a shame because I'm an absolute Fritzbox fan. But I don't have a faster internet connection at the moment.
