Epson EcoTank ET-2870
Ink tank, Colour
Hello, What is the difference between the Ecotank 2870, 2875 and 2820 models? I can't find anything special in their description. And do all Ecotanks use the same ink? (I have an old model, can I use the ink I have left with a new model?) Thanks

### Differences between the EcoTank 2870, 2875 and 2820 models
- EcoTank ET-2870 and ET-2875:
- These models are very similar, with the main difference being the colour of the finish. The EcoTank ET-2876 (which is essentially the same as the ET-2870 but with a white finish) and the ET-2870 differ only in the colour of the appliance.
- There are no significant differences in terms of functionality between the ET-2870 and ET-2875, as these models share the same features, such as the ability to print, scan and copy, as well as the use of an ink tank system.
- EcoTank ET-2820:
- The EcoTank ET-2820 is an older and less advanced model compared to the ET-2870. It lacks certain features such as automatic double-sided printing, which is available on the ET-2870.
- The ET-2820 may also have differences in performance and print quality compared to more recent models such as the ET-2870.
### Ink usage between models
- Different Epson EcoTank models generally use the same type of ink, but it is important to check the specific compatibility for each model.
- In general, EcoTank inks are designed for use with specific models, but some inks may be compatible between similar models. However, it is recommended that you consult the manufacturer's documentation or the Epson website to confirm the compatibility of the ink with your new model.
In summary, if you have an old model and want to use the remaining ink with a new model, be sure to check compatibility with the manufacturer to avoid any incompatibility or performance issues.
