Question about ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 - OG OC Edition
Hello, the gpu has 5 video ports (3xDp and 2x Hdmi) can i use them all (i want to use 4 monitors and a dashboard for simracing) or is this limited by nvidia to max.4 as described above ?

As far as I know, the 40xxs are limited to a maximum of 4 active screens, regardless of the number of connections.
If you want to control more via a single card, you will probably have to resort to special solutions.
According to NVIDIA :
Multi Monitor:
4 independent displays at 4K 120Hz using DP or HDMI
2 independent displays at 4K 240Hz or 8K 60Hz with DSC using DP or HDMI
Other display configurations may be possible based on available bandwidth
You can only use 4 outputs at the same time! Unfortunately I had to find this out for myself 🙄
you can use all 4 outputs simultaneously,
if 5 connectors are connected the 5th will be greyed out.
I have 4 28" 4K screens
