From memory I would say no, because the maximum height of the CADDY HDD in the PS4 v1 is 9.5mm and this disk is 15mm

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a disk with a capacity greater than 2TB, because even after the 3.5 update there are still some users who have problems...

I strongly recommend that you put a Samsung 860 EVO Basic 2TB SSD in your PS4 and reinstall the system from scratch.
You'll see it's not the same experience. (you'll go from a dinosaur to a state of the art fighter plane ;) )
I have made this change for my PS4 and my brothers PS4s and no problems found, either on the PRO or the v1.

If you still want to put a HDD higher than 9.5mm, there are covers that allow you to install 2.5" higher or even 3.5" disks but I don't recommend it.

Hello, without tinkering it doesn't fit. The disc is too high. However, if you have a dremel to cut the drawer slightly, it will fit. What we wouldn't do to have 5Tb...
