Hello, I have attached a keyboard, mouse and 2 monitors via HDMI. Unfortunately, I only get a very poor resolution and aspect ratio on one screen at a time. Does anyone know why this could be? I have changed the cables and also used fresh ones and could not determine that it was due to a monitor, socket or cable. It is simply the one identified as "3" by the laptop. Thanks and greetings PS: As a workaround, I now have the 2nd monitor directly connected to the laptop, but it shouldn't be like this.

Hello, I have also connected 2 screens via HDMI and it works perfectly (Windows laptop). However, I have already experienced that laptops have problems controlling two screens with a resolution greater than 1920x1080 via a USB C docking station (one screen then flickers).
With this docking station, I have the problem that the ETH connection is interrupted every now and then. I therefore connect the ETH cable directly to the laptop. As already mentioned, this is not the idea of a docking station...
To add, I don't have a USB C power supply on the docking station.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the purchase and also have problems, albeit of a different nature. Screen via HDMI works perfectly, except yesterday it flickered briefly. I have problems with the sound, which drops out in places when I have a call (Teams, Skype doesn't matter). Very annoying when you are always told that you were not understood. Since I've been running the sound through the laptop again, it works perfectly, but that's not the point of a docking station.

https://www.testsieger.de/testportal.... In extension mode, either the IB or the graphics card of your computer cannot run the full resolution.

Hello, I have this item that I use with Linux, I do not have an absolute answer to your problem, but it is a plug-and-play device, normally everything should work without doing anything. One idea that has crossed my mind would be to make sure that the power supply to the station is properly connected, make sure that the USB-C charger is plugged into the station and do all your updates. Otherwise you can ask the question directly to Icy-Box --> via the contact page: https://icybox.de/en...
Sincerely

What I would like to add, because this is a topic in other comments on similar questions:
I use Windows, not MAC.
It is certainly possible to attach more than 1, I also have 2 on this laptop in the shop. And the 2 I want to attach at home are otherwise also attached to my desktop PC with a 3rd and work wonderfully.
