Question about Canon PIXMA TS5351a
Grüezi mitenand The PIXMA TS5351a, like all other printers, is supplied with a starter set of cartridges. My question: How many b/w pages can be printed with such a mini b/w cartridge? I'm asking because I only print very little (1-3 pages per week) and don't want to buy replacement cartridges now that will be lying around for a year or more. Thank you very much for your help. In general, I have found that the cartridges are empty extremely quickly.
we print a little more - maybe 5 pages a week and have had the printer for half a year - so far still with the original cartridge
You're right, the printer comes with cartridges of limited capacity. I'm not in a position to tell you the number of pages printed... A random estimate would be some 200 pages (without guarantee). Between the date of purchase 25.05.2022 and the purchase of the first B/W cartridge (type XXL CHF 28.80) original replacement canon (21.03.2023) there was therefore about 10 months. Later I replaced the non-original XXL colour cartridge, but they were original compatible and re-spec'd. Cost approx. 35€. (Date: 4.05.2023) so one year after purchase. The performance seems good, but I still can't tell you the number of pages. I would need a counter on the printer or some kind of control software. I don't print many photos and generally only B/W documents, not many in colour. I'm sorry I can't help you more precisely.
