If you're thinking about infrared photography: as far as I know, the HC-V777 doesn't have a setting for this; but I think you'll find it in the models of the UX970 and VX870 series. However, night shots, e.g. in illuminated cities, are quite possible (tripod recommended), try searching for examples on YouTube.

You can select night shot, sunset or fireworks from the menu. The automatic mode also produces good video recordings at night. The photos, on the other hand, are less convincing; it is better to use a tripod and choose only still objects.
