Die größte Schwachstelle des Walimex pro AE 1,4 / 35 mm ist die Tatsache, das es hier keinen Autofokus gibt. Wenn man sich damit abfinden kann, handelt es sich hier um ein gutes Objektiv mit Festbrennweite. Dieses überzeugt mit guter Auflösung, einer ordentlichen Objektivgüte und auch einer gelungenen Ausstattung.
Das Walimex ist in gewissen Bereichen sehr gut und wiederum in anderen eher nicht. Ein sehr seltsames verhalten denn bei Offenblende führt das zu einem geringen Schärfeverlust. Bei 1,4 arbeitet das Objektiv eher mäßig, wobei dennoch eine Empfehlung ausgesprochen wird.
Wegen des sehr günstigen Preises liefert das Objektiv sehr gute Werte. Es ist in einem Kunststoff- Metallgehäuse gut umfasst und hochwertig verarbeit. Es liefert eine konstante und gleichmäßige Auflösung die jedoch wegen der geringen Details recht niedrig ausfällt. Dagegen sind aber die leicht sichtbaren Verzeichnungen gut unterdrückt.
Zugreifen erlaubt! Walimex bietet mit dem pro 35mm F1,4 AS UMC eine zwar nicht ganz so preiswerte Alternative zu herstellereigenen Objektiven an. Neben der hochwertigen Verarbeitung überzeugt das Walimex, trotz Schwächen bei Offenblende, mit einer außerordentlichen Abbildungsleistung. Für scharfe Bilder sollten Sie daher die Blende ab f/2 bevorzugen.
