The DIGINOVA 25 smart is the first HD combo and multimedia receiver with Alexa integration on the German market. Alexa is the brain behind Amazon Echo and other devices with Alexa integration. Alexa adds an interface to the device, enabling voice control, access to Alexa skills (the various "apps" that can be controlled via Alexa), and the integration of smart home features, such as controlling lighting or heating systems. In addition to these extensive functions, you can of course also watch television with the box – and in various ways: The receiver receives both high-definition satellite television (DVB-S2) and high-definition digital terrestrial (DVB-T2 H.265) or digital cable television (DVB-C) in HD quality. Thanks to the CI+ interface, the receiver can be upgraded to receive encrypted programs such as Sky or freenet TV. When connected via USB to an external storage device, the DIGINOVA 25 smart acts as a digital video recorder. It supports recordings (PVR function including time-shift playback) on external media.
