Dass das Modell auf dem letzten Platz landet hat einen einfachen Grund. Das Bild in HD ist noch recht ansehnlich aber in SD Auflösung eher mäßig, wobei auch die Auswahl an Online Diensten sehr gering ausfällt. Doch auch bei den Formaten unterstützt das Sony Gerät eher eine geringe Anzahl, sodass man hier kaum flexibel ist.

Durch die kompakten Maße sowie die ein fache und schnelle Installation ist das Gerät sehr einfach in der Handhabung. Dabei kann die PS TV zahlreiche Formate abspielen und ist auch in der Lage Musik aus dem heimischen Netzwerk abzurufen. Leider unterstützt das Modell kaum Online Dienste, sodass man hier auf eine geringe Anzahl angewiesen ist.

Das durch das PlayStation TV gestreamte Bild erscheint auf dem zweitem Fernseher mit einer deutlich schwächeren Bildqualität. Sinnvoller wäre es, ein zweites Strom- und HDMI-Kabel zu kaufen. Es ist nicht nur günstiger, sondern auch besser, da die Bildqualität nicht abnimmt.
