Sony ECM-GZ1M Zoom Microphone (successor to the ECM-HGZ1) for camcorders with Active Interface (intelligent special Sony accessory shoe). This compact gun zoom microphone allows you to synchronize the audio track recorded with the Handycam's internal microphone with the zoom orientation. It offers three settings for various recording scenarios. The microphone is powered by the camcorder, so it does not require its own battery.

Das Sony Mikrofon ist sehr kompakt und hat demzufolge auch ein geringes Gewicht. Der Klang ist recht passabel, kann aber mit dem Rest des Testfeldes nicht mithalten. Auch der spezielle Anschluss den nur Sony Kamera verwenden stößt hier negativ auf.
