Sonos Roam 2
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Airplay 2Product details
Reviews & Ratings
In the speaker test, the best Bluetooth and WiFi devices score highly with their rich sound and ease of use. However, only a few offer this complete package. Natural sounding bass, clearly audible details and balanced, lively sound - this is what the perfect speaker should sound like...
The compact Roam 2 Bluetooth speaker from Sonos delivers very good sound in all environments thanks to the automatic Trueplay technology and is easy to use. It impressed us and is recommended for purchase.
- Remarkable bass for this size
- Balanced tuning
- Voice control
- Quite a high price purely in terms of sound
- Keypad on the device poorly labelled
The Sonos Roam 2 is not a special offer. But with its multi-room functionality, compatibility with the Sonos network, voice control and easy use on the go via Bluetooth, the Roam 2, which is available in black, white and three new colours, is the Swiss army knife of mobile wireless speakers.
- Flexible use thanks to WLAN and Bluetooth
- Connection to the Sonos multiroom system and Alexa
- Compact and mobile
- Low maximum volume and sound distortion at high levels
- Comparatively weak battery
The Sonos Roam 2 has to admit defeat to the competition in some respects: It doesn't get as loud as other Bluetooth speakers and also has a significantly shorter battery life. On the other hand, it skilfully implements the dual concept of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi speaker. The second generation is even smoother than before...
