Die DP3 verhält sich ähnlich wie das Schwestermodell und so ist die Bildqualität bis zu einem ISO Wert von 400 recht solide. Nimmt dann aber stark ab und so ist die Kamera ebenfalls schlechter aufgestellt als die Konkurrenz im Testfeld. Dafür bietet sie aber eine sehr geringe Verzeichnung.
Die Sigma punktet mit hoher Bildqualität sowie dem sehr hohen Auflösevermögen. Leider rauscht das Bild bei hohen ISO Werten was aber die Endnote nicht wesentlich beeinflusst. Handhabung und Verarbeitung sind wieder auf top Niveau.
Die Systemkamera hat ihre Stärken besonders wenn das RAW Format eingesetzt wird, den hier werden die Aufnahmen sehr gut. Das Rauschverhalten ist zwar insgesamt in Ordnung aber bei wenig Licht gelingen die Fotos nicht mehr so gut. Dennoch sollte man sich vorher überlegen wie man die Kamera einsetzt. Für den richtigen Zweck ist sie ein Kaufempfehlung.
