This telephoto zoom offers an impressive price-performance ratio for equipping digital SLR cameras. It allows for macro photography with a magnification ratio of 1:2 at a focal length of 300 mm. A special slider enables the change of focal length between 200 mm and 300 mm in the macro position. The minimum focusing distance (without macro) is 1.5 m for all focal lengths. The use of special low-dispersion glass (SLD) corrects chromatic aberration, including variations caused by changes in focal length.
