... Leider kann das GSP 350 nicht so einfach per Klinke verbunden werden, obwohl dies prinzipiell kein Problem darstellen sollte: Das Kabel des Headsets wird am Gerät mit einem vierpoligen 1,5-mm-Klinkenadapter angeschlossen und dann per USB verbunden. Ein zweites Kabel, dass auf 3,5-mm-Klinke endet und damit den Bertrieb an Smartphone oder MP3-Player erlauben würde, fehlt im Lieferumfang leider...

Mit dem GSP 350 im Test schließt Sennheiser eine lange klaffende Lücke im eigenen Angebot an Gaming Headsets. Mit USB-Soundchip kostet das GSP 350 zwar deutlich über 100 Euro, das GSP 300 als reines Stereo-Headset mit Analog-Anschluss gibt es dafür um die 90 Euro ? ein populärer Preisbereich, in dem Sennheiser bislang keine Gaming Headsets angeboten hat...

Das aktuelle Gaming-Modell von Sennheiser richtet sich in seiner Grundform speziell an PC-Spieler. Im Lieferumfang findet sich nämlich lediglich ein USB-Kabel. Klinkenverbindungen werden nur als optionales Zubehör angeboten. Durch die USB-Verbindung kann man am Rechner einen virtuellen 7.1-Dolby-Surround-Sound aktivieren, welcher eine bessere räumliche Ortung in Spielen verspricht...
