Bei der Samsung WB650 wurde an nichts gespart: Bildstabilisator für unverwackelte Aufnahmen, Motivprogramme und intelligente Automatik, Gesichts- und Lächelerkennung sowie ein großer Zoombereich mit einer Weitwinkel-Brennweite von 25 Millimetern und natürlich GPS-Funktion.
Die WB650 (350 Euro) hat der 20 Euro günstigeren Megazoom TZ8 einen größeren Brennweitenbereich und ein integriertes GPS-Modul voraus. Dafür punktet die Panasonic mit der besseren Bildqualität.
