Der Testsieger hat nicht nur extrem schnelle Lese- und Schreibraten, sondern ist dabei noch verhältnismäßig günstig. Somit ist der Einsatz auch in PCs interessant und mit ihrer Kapazität von 750 GB sollten keine Speicherprobleme mehr austauchen.

Die Samsung 840 EVO 750GB ist die zweitgrößte SSD aus Samsungs neuer 840-EVO-Serie, schlägt aber im Test die 1-TB-Version bei den Lesetransferraten. Bei den Zugriffszeiten und beim Stromverbrauch liegt sie aber klar dahinter. Das ist jedoch Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau, denn die 840 EVO 750GB gehört damit immer noch zur Top 3 in der Bestenliste.
