Fujifilm has achieved a great success with the X100VI. It is the first compact camera to earn our exceptional rating of "Super". The retro operating concept remains a matter of taste. As the camera also allows "modern" operation, everyone will get their money's worth. The high price of 1800 euros remains...
- The camera convinces with a high resolution performance, which it owes to its large sensor and the new lens. The handling is well thought-out and only takes a little getting used to in a few points.
- Unfortunately, a see-through viewfinder (optical or electronic) is missing, which would enable classic photography with the camera at the eye. The optional attachable viewfinder should therefore be planned into the purchase.
The Ricoh GR IIIx convinces with its consistently implemented basic concept of an ultra-compact camera for reportage and street photography. Thanks to its image sensor, which is large for a compact, and the successful new development of the lens, it performs these tasks confidently and with impressive shots...
- Ultra-compact in pocket format
- Very good picture quality
- Fast autofocus
- Extremely fast connection time
- Slow battery life, without ext. charger
- Full HD video only
If you're looking for a camera that's as compact as possible with a large sensor, Ricoh's GR series is a must. Both cameras together cover the classic focal lengths of street photography. Intermediate ranges (35 mm) or a slight telephoto extension (50 mm) can easily be realised via crop...
No other camera series offers so much image quality in so little space. Ricoh's GRIIIx is a convincing follow-up to the GR III. Image quality, lens and the faster autofocus score points - buy tip "compact". However, the display should be movable if, as here, there is no space for a viewfinder, and the battery is far too small. We strongly recommend taking two spare batteries with you.
- Extremely compact, high-quality housing
- Good operation with many buttons, wheels and clear menu
- Very good lens with remarkable macro function
- Very good image quality up to ISO 400, good up to ISO 1,600
- Extremely bright touch screen
- Poorly equipped video function with only Full HD resolution
