Ordered on 15/10/2024, was delivered with firmware version 5.7.1.

A second key is recommended.
You may also need to order a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

I can't say yet whether it will then prove itself on a key ring in a trouser pocket and how long it will take for the USB-C to become blocked or dirty. But it makes a stable impression :)

Very secure
This key is very secure, I advise you before buying it to do your research because to understand the possibilities that this key offers and to put them in place, it takes time when you are not used to it. I spent 2 days on it and the tutorials are not easy to find.
In particular to create a static password identical on 2 keys.
I advise you to buy 2 to backup the first one in case there would be a problem with the first one.Old firmware!
I have many of these yubikeys. The latest firmware v5.7 for yubikey 5 series came out in May this year, however, even though I ordered this yubikey 2 months after that, the device came with the old firmware. As firmware on yubikeys cannot be tampered with for security reasons, the old stock at digitec is not worth the price right now.
