Good first impression
I bought the SSD to replace a 3.5" HDD for an older Dell desktop because I could no longer manage Intel's Optane SSD disc caching (32GB SSD is used as a cache to reduce access time) after the original HDD gave up the ghost. In keeping with the motto "Why bother with SSD caching when I can use an SSD directly", I replaced it. Installation was easy (even if the additionally purchased 2.5" to 3.5" mounting adapter didn't fit). The thing didn't have any faults and the speed improvement compared to the HDD is amazing (Windows 10 now runs more or less smoothly). I can't say to what extent the SSD performs (whether it would be preferable to other models and manufacturers). No long-term experience with it. In any case, no bad surprises.
