THE perfect headset
(If there wasn't just this little something)
I was thrilled with the headphones.
They were perfect.
No more charging the headset with the annoying cable, thanks to the revolutionary idea of using 2 interchangeable batteries, one of which is constantly charging in the station, while the other supplies the headset with power.
The sound quality was also excellent.
Now you may wonder why I only give it 2 stars, even though I rave about it:
The headset had a microphone in the headphones themselves which is supposed to be used for noise cancellation.
This microphone is clearly perceptible and caused me severe ear pain after about 20 minutes of wearing it.
(Ps:I wrote to Steelseries support and they say they are working on an improved version which should only differ in that the problem with the microphones should be fixed.
If this is the case, I will buy the product again and recommend it wholeheartedly).
On top of that, the (not) good quality of the noise cancellation did not justify the comfort deductions.
At 50€ okay
Not at 300€
I had to return it with a heavy heart.

This headset isn't cheap but definitely worth the price with all the features it offers. Plus it is compatible with all platforms unlike the PC/PS5 version. For the record, some people complain about the discomfort of the headset but I personally don't have that problem. It's really going to be case by case. This is the wireless version even though in the description it says the opposite.

The best headphones I have ever had since the Astro A50, my house has very thick walls and they pick up practically everywhere, inform yourself well to change the original earcups!!! in fact the originals are too low and the ear touches the internal microphone and causes irritation, on the market there are excellent solutions for changing the earcups

I chose this Nova Pro X wireless headset for the promises it made in terms of sound quality and versatility (PC, PS5/PS4, XBox, Switch, smartphone,...) and the promises are completely kept. Very satisfied with the sound of this headset. A good notch above the Logitech G933 that I also own, especially in a more audiophile use, the G933 still doing very well in gaming listening. I would say that it is on PC that the difference is the most bluffing compared to the G933. On PS5, the sound is excellent, but the difference is less clear. I have not yet tested the bluetooth connection with my smartphone. Concerning the comfort, nothing to say for the moment (I used it a little more than a dozen hours in 5 days).

The Arctis Nova Pro solve many issues of their predecessor, including the white noise problem and the change in bass response if wearing glasses.
The sound quality is okay/good, but not impressing, very lacking in bass (even if using eq to compensate), but with very good sound separation. Good for competitive gaming, but not the best for immersion. Range and swappable batteries are great.
The base station is not very well integrated with their own sonar software, which is a pity: can't make profile in sonar and switch them on the base station, so you need sonar always open, annoying.
The BIG PROBLEM is comfort. They are light on the head, which is great; your ears will get hot but it' bearable. However, to implement (badly) noise cancelling they added a mic inside the ear cup. The mic comes out from the driver and pushes against your ear (see picture). If you have the right shape of ear you might not notice it, but if you have somewhat big ears the notch will press against them. After 30 min this gets really uncomfortable, after 1h simply painful. I had to return them for this reason. You can see for yourself that this issue is mentioned in several YouTube reviews/reddit posts, so be aware
