I can NOT support the statement of my predecessor.
To my knowledge, there is NO fan that is inaudible at 12v.
But at 5 V the fan is as good as inaudible. The great thing about the fan is that he really belongs to the quietest there are on the market, that he has extremely high flow due to the small fan hub (Where the motor is inside.) and the price is simply right.
Currently, this is my favorite when it comes to quiet and inexpensive fans.Uncompromising purchase

Clicking noises make the fan anything but "silent".

Bought 2 of them. Both make clicking noises, several times per second. Can't use them in the living room, too loud!

Efficient, very quiet, and very very cheap. Certainly one of the best value for money on the market, for those who seek silence above all. If I have to find a negative point, I would say the life span which is inevitably inferior to that of the market leaders (Noctua for example). But at this price, we will accept that the fan starts to show signs of weakness after 4 or 5 years...
