If you like the design and want a smartwatch, you can buy one without hesitation and save a lot of money.
The competition simply can't keep up at this price, especially when it comes to hardware features and software support (e.g. long-term updates). This is why the watch is not advertised by Samsung, because it competes with the Galaxy Watches and would cannibalise them. (Purchased for just under CHF 50, September 2024)
Addendum to the negative:
According to other users, the step count detection is inaccurate. As long as it is relatively accurate (i.e. it is consistent compared to old data and, for example, you know it was about twice as much as yesterday), then this is less of a problem. Nobody needs an exact measurement. Whether you ran 2km or 2.2km really doesn't matter. This is ALWAYS the case with ALL devices when counting calories; it is never accurate, but always an estimate, which is perfectly adequate.
Attention: If the Galaxy Wearable crashes during the initial installation: Make backups of all devices, update Galaxy Fit, uninstall Galaxy Wearable app COMPLETELY, including device plugins - then reset and reinstall Galaxy Fit and only then add all other devices again. Otherwise, certain things may be missing (in my case it was watch faces). I think it's due to the Galaxy Wearable app, wh. it doesn't cope well with multiple smartwatches ...

Great watch that fits into the Samsung ecosystem. However, it still needs to be better integrated there. Battery is ok, but not top (previously had a Huawei that had +14 days battery). Measurements etc. are identical to the previous watch. I am satisfied.
